For example, I have the theme running on three Intrepid Ibex systems as follows: Laptop (native 1280x800): startup-manager 640x480; usplash.conf 1280x800 Monitor 1 (native 1280x1024): startup-manager 1024x768; usplash.conf 1024x768 Monitor 2 (native 1280x1024): startup-manager 800x600; usplash.conf 800x600 Monitors 1 and 2 are almost identical Samsung models, but it appears that Monitor 2 doesn't allow resolutions of greater than 800x600 during boot (boot-up halts and I'm presented with a list of available resolutions, the largest of which is 800x600;32 bit).
